Sellers Union Group Held the 2023 Partners Conference

On February 23rd, the 2023 Partners Conference of Sellers Union Group was grandly held through the video conference. Over 160 participants, including all the Group partners, representative of annual important awards and core executives of ecosystem enterprises, attended the conference. The conference was chaired by Kelly Fang, Deputy General Manager of the Group Administration Department.



Firstly, the conference held the annual important Group awards ceremony. In 2023, 7 collective awards were established, with Union Vision winning the Cultural Construction Award and Learning & Organization Award, Union Service winning the Collaboration & Sharing Award and Incorruptibility Construction Award, Sellers Union winning the Innovation Vitality Award, Union Grand winning the Talent Magnet Award, and the Documentation & Risk Control Department winning the Information Security Award. In 2023, 6 team awards were established, including Blue Ocean Strategy Award, Market Development Award, Excellent Business Performance Award, Business Quality Award, Network Marketing Award, and Customer Service Award. A total of 21 business teams won the honors. Blue Ocean Strategy Award was won by Union Source and Union Chance. The companies should be sensitive to new business models, have strong foresight in business layout, with demonstrative new projects that have successfully been implemented, and the business layout can become an important business track of the Group. Charly Chen and Vinson Qian respectively represented two companies to receive the award, which were well deserved. In 2023, 4 business general managers won the highest honor of personal awards – Golden Tripod Award, namely Charly Chen, Vinson Qian, Tony Wang and Michael Xu. The Golden Tripod Award of the Group has always been known for its fierce competition. They won the Golden Tripod Awards this time with business scale, high-speed performance growth and profitability. In 2023, a total of 20 business executives won the Golden Bull Award for their business departments' outstanding performances in 2023 and received the awards on-site.



Charly Chen, the winner of the 2023 Golden Tripod Award, expressed his gratitude to the platform, which allowed everyone to freely think on a safe stage and actively try different business models. Secondly, he expressed his gratitude for the tolerance of the Group’s corporate culture, which has enabled more partners to be brave in trying new things and facing with different challenges, and ultimately share the joy of success together. Moreover, Charly expressed his gratitude to the resource advantages of the platform, which can provide employees with higher perspectives and positions for analysis and prediction. The Group's partner mechanism allows employees to fully exert their subjective initiatives, hold a sense of mission and a desire for success, and adhere to continuous innovation. 



Vinson Qian, the winner of the 2023 Golden Tripod Award, stated that we need to understand how to look up at the sky while we are busy with looking down on the road, that is, paying attention to strategic choices and pattern positioning as the scale of business units grows. He explained the differences in operational strategy choices for different business models and operational logics. He suggested that enterprises can explore new models through various ways, such as improving operational efficiency by adhering to original positioning; deepening the original positioning, reorganizing and adapting business activities to gain competitive advantages; searching for a new positioning, exploring a suitable new path based on the business logic and practice.



Tony Wang, the winner of the 2023 Golden Tripod Award, stated that the company's product and service capabilities complement each other and are closely related. In the future, Union Deal will continue to focus on improving product capabilities and continuously improving the business service capabilities. He suggests to pay attention to the compatibility between organizational structure and business development stages, and the dynamic adjustment of job settings to match business processes. He thought that employees with a strong sense of purpose, competitiveness, and a relaxed and pleasant working atmosphere in the company, as well as a cooperative relationship between superiors and subordinates, are very conducive to promoting the achievement of high-level performance goals.



The Golden Bull Awards winners, Alex Bian from Union Source, Marina Ma from Union Service made on-site sharing. Alex stated that being able to successfully achieve the annual performance goals was mainly because of the high sensitivity to business data, timely and dynamic problem handling, adherence to operational strategies around business quality, the proactive and collaborative efforts of team members. Marina said that winning the Golden Bull Award was the support and strength of the entire team. She suggested business departments to focus more on the target markets, maintain the Pareto principle and increase the level of key customer service, accelerate the integration of new members by using the tutorial system and quickly improve team execution capabilities.



The conference held the signing ceremony of new partners. 19 colleagues, including Solar Wang, Susan Sun, Seashell Xie, Fancy Fang, Cindy Jin, Tiffany Li, Louis Huang, Leo Liu, Frank Qiu, Anton Hu, Elsa Liu, Steven Ni, Jane Jin, Sun Zhang, Shawn Zhong, David Lei, Cathy Wang, Luna Liu, and John Wang, became new partners of the Group. Patrick Xu, Chairman of the Group, and Vinson Qian, Co-President of the Group, signed the contracts and took photos with new partners. Frank Qiu from Union Grand and Sun Zhang from Union Home, respectively gave speeches. In Frank's speech, he reviewed his career development and stated that the sustained growth of department performance was mainly because of the support of the Group's resources, mechanisms, and the whole team's efforts. Sun Zhang from Union Home showed and explained the key points of the documentary process for major customers, the focus of newcomer coaching, and personnel team member evaluation based on his work experience.



Rainbow Wang, Vice President of the Group, gave a detailed report on annual business performance, foreign trade B2B base and the cross-border e-commerce B2C main track to all the partners. Our Group achieved the best performance in history in2023, with business scale successfully exceeding 10 billion yuan, and the business quality has continued to be significantly improved. The Group has entered a new stage of development. She comprehensively introduced the investment layout and annual progress of the Group's ecosystem and the key work plan of the Group's Strategic Investment Department in 2024. Jolin Zhu, Assistant President of the Group, reported on the distribution and development of the international market of the entire Group in 2023, as well as the regional and national market risk situations that need attention. Xianglong Meng, General Manager of the Group Market Research Department, gave a presentation on the Group's international market research, global brand image promotion, the global layout of leading Chinese enterprises.



Patrick Xu, Chairman of the Group, delivered an important speech. He pointed out that we are facing with a lot of challenges under current conditions. From the perspective of enterprise management, we need to face intra-species and inter-species competition, and constantly adapt to the environment. We need to follow the law of the jungle, embrace ecological cooperation and gather consensus, striving to find the greatest common denominator for common development. We need leaders with authority and empowerment, as well as process-based enabling organizations. This era calls for more entrepreneurial spirits and composite grayscale leadership. The era of showing the unique charm of corporate culture has arrived. He claimed that the current economic environment is significantly different from the past, which requires cultural prioritization and adaptation. If the Group had achieved some success in the past, it was essentially the success of corporate culture. If there was no unique and practical culture that matched with the Group's development, our scale would likely to only stay at 100 million US dollars. Therefore, we proposed Sellers’ wise eyes, namely the eyes of "Culture Leading" and "Business Layout". We need to constantly reflect and verify whether culture is the driving force, method, and spirit of our business, and whether business is the specific presentation and result of culture. Among our cultural characteristics, partner mechanism is our core cultural label, playing a crucial role in the development and growth of the Group, and will also have a decisive position in the future. Corporate culture will also play a more important and positive role in attracting key talents, strategic cooperation with mainstream customers, supporting sustained performance growth, globalization empowerment and links.



He indicated that our Group has started a new round of corporate culture upgrading work from 2023, which will take three years to complete the upgrading and improvement of the corporate culture concept system, the finalization of the standard text version of Sellers’ corporate culture, and the iteration of the intelligent leading corporate culture exhibition hall. We believe that all enterprises with breakthroughs are driven by unique cultures. Culture is the most powerful internal driving force for enterprises, and it is the core competitiveness of enterprises that are most difficult to imitate. The upgrading of corporate culture is timely and has profound significance. We have basically formed a draft of a new corporate culture concept system through extensive group discussions among all partners at the 2023 Strategic Seminar, the cultural consensus meeting of the core management level and the in-depth exploration of the corporate culture special project team. We are the pioneered group company to propose to create symbiotic organization. The Group has gone through several organizational forms, including a single company, subsidiary model and partner mechanism. Symbiotic organization is the most suitable organizational form for our current development status, the most suitable phase to summarize our corporate culture and the Group's future development needs. We advocate for practicing entrepreneurial spirits, and we think all the partners are entrepreneurs with entrepreneurial spirits. Especially for symbiotic organizations, which are a collection of diverse business ecosystems, it is even more necessary to promote the entrepreneurial spirits of today's era – committed to growth and mutual prosperity. Our Group's business continued to maintain double-digit growth in 2023, with annual revenue exceeding 1.4 billion US dollars, breaking through the 10-billion-yuan mark for the first time. The B2B sector saw a significant increase in shipments, the B2C sector witnessed a dramatic improvement, and the ecosystem business performed commendably. Currently, the business development in the first half of 2024 is relatively clear. He said that the joint efforts of employees who had outstanding performances, won annual awards, got promotions and all the partners are the reasons of sustainable and high-quality development of the Groups. He also expressed gratitude to everyone for adhering to the core values of innovation, diligence, honesty, efficiency and benefiting others. He pointed out that the Group's performance growth target for 2024 is 1.8 to 2 billion US dollars, and he hoped the Group can continue working hard to maintain double-digit growth. He also explained some key tasks to be promoted at the group level this year in detail, planned and clarified the medium-term and long-term business performance development goals for the next three and ten years, and explained the concepts of internal equity trading mechanism, investment value comparison, and internal listing. He considered that our Group's business will become more diversified and ecological, and our business strategies will become more diverse and dynamic, the boundaries of business forms will gradually become blurred and borderless in the future. Therefore, it is more necessary for the Group's functional departments to deeply link and empower each business sector, and jointly build a multinational empowerment group with global buying and selling.
