27 Years of Deep Roots, A New Chapter in Yiwu
On August 28, 2026, Sellers Union Group held the relocation and opening ceremony of its new headquarters in Yiwu’s new CBD area. The event brought together 88 guests, including members of the Group’s senior management, partners based in Ningbo and Yiwu, and leaders of companies within the Sellers Union ecosystem, who gathered to witness this significant milestone.

In his opening remarks, Patrick Xu, Chairman of Sellers Union Group, reflected on the company’s long-standing connection with Yiwu.
Sellers Union was founded in the Ningbo Free Trade Zone in 1997 and established its Yiwu procurement office in 1999. In the early days, the company worked with open-air container loading areas, cardboard boxes vulnerable to rain, and long journeys along mountain roads before the highways were completed. These memories bear witness to the challenges and determination that shaped the Group’s early development.
In 2006, Sellers Union registered Yiwu Youxun, marking a new stage of localized operations. Since then, the Group has continued to put down roots and grow in Yiwu for more than two decades.

As the Group’s foreign trade team in Yiwu expanded to more than 2,000 employees, the limitations of its former leased offices became increasingly apparent. Fragmented workspaces and inefficient operations made it necessary to establish a more integrated and sustainable headquarters.
With strong support from various government departments in Yiwu, Sellers Union Group made the decision to build its own headquarters.
Patrick Xu emphasized that although the Group has consistently adhered to a light-asset philosophy, the construction of the new headquarters does not affect the Group’s normal business operations. Instead, it represents a prudent and necessary investment to support the continued development of its comprehensive foreign trade service capabilities.
With an investment of nearly RMB 400 million and a total floor area of approximately 80,000 square meters, the new headquarters provides a tangible foundation for the Group’s integrated development of foreign trade businesses in Yiwu.

Patrick Xu noted that the relocation ceremony brought together selected partners from Ningbo and Yiwu, as well as general managers of companies within the Group’s ecosystem. Such milestone events, he emphasized, help strengthen alignment and build a shared sense of purpose.
During his speech, he also introduced the Group’s organizational model and business structure.
Sellers Union Group has established three major business tracks: B2B, B2C, and the Foreign Trade Ecosystem, supported by three organizational models: directly managed companies, directly managed ecosystem companies, and ecosystem companies.
Different regional business units each have their own areas of focus while working together to create synergies. In Yiwu, the Group’s core strength lies in its comprehensive service capabilities under the market procurement trade model.
Looking ahead, Patrick Xu outlined the Group’s development goals for Yiwu and emphasized the importance of operational efficiency and cost management. With the new headquarters now in operation, the Group will seek to translate its improved facilities into stronger brand value and greater industry influence.
At the same time, the new headquarters will provide an improved working environment while requiring continued attention to dynamic management, operational efficiency, and safety.
Patrick Xu concluded his remarks by expressing his appreciation to government authorities at all levels, customers, suppliers, and the teams involved in the construction of the new headquarters.

Amid enthusiastic applause, the ceremony moved into a traditional lion-eye-dotting ritual.
Patrick Xu personally performed the dotting ceremony, bringing the auspicious lion to life. The first stroke on the left eye symbolized vitality and inspiration; the second on the right eye represented ambition and determination; and the final stroke on the forehead conveyed wishes for good fortune and success.
Following the ceremony, the lion dance performance brought energy and excitement to the first-floor lobby, while a spectacular dragon dance further elevated the atmosphere.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony then marked the official opening of the new Yiwu headquarters.
Seven Group vice presidents and senior executives jointly held the golden scissors and cut the ceremonial ribbon. As the red ribbon fell, Sellers Union Group officially entered a new chapter of development in Yiwu.
Following the ceremony, the Group’s general manager teams from directly managed companies and representatives of ecosystem companies gathered for group photographs. Partners and team members also took the opportunity to capture their own memorable moments.

After the ceremony, guests were invited to visit the Group’s corporate culture exhibition hall, guided by Kelly Fang, General Manager of the Group’s General Administration Department.
Covering more than 1,000 square meters, the exhibition hall is organized into five thematic sections, offering a comprehensive overview of Sellers Union Group’s development journey, strategic evolution, corporate culture, three business tracks, partnership mechanism, organizational development, digital transformation, and sustainability practices.
Through historical materials, interactive digital installations, and visual representations of the Group’s business strategies, the exhibition presents Sellers Union’s evolution from a natural grower to a globally oriented enterprise.

The completion of a headquarters building marks more than the opening of a new office. It represents a tangible milestone in a company’s journey from its past toward its future.
From the 90-square-meter apartment leased in Jiangdong Shangyuan in 1999, to successive expansions on Gongren North Road and Zongze North Road, and now to a modern headquarters in Yiwu’s new CBD, every relocation has marked another step forward in Sellers Union Group’s growth.
Today, the new headquarters stands as a new landmark in the Group’s Yiwu journey—and as a foundation for what comes next.
Looking ahead, Sellers Union Group will continue to embrace a pragmatic, steady, and sustainable approach to growth. Leveraging its dual-headquarters operation in Ningbo and Yiwu, the Group will continue to advance its global strategy, strengthen its international capabilities, and write the next chapter of its story of deep roots, continuous evolution, and global growth on a broader international stage.
