On the morning of October 18th, the foundation stone laying ceremony of Sellers Union Group's Yiwu headquarter building was grandly held in the new CBD block. Mao Xianghong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Yiwu Free Trade Development Zone, Xu Pingju, Chen Yongzhen, Qian Tianfeng and Wang Caihong from Sellers Union Group, Mei Liang from Zhejiang Rongtuo Construction, and other leaders and guests attended the ceremony. More than 50 representatives from the Group's management level and employees, as well as representatives from project cooperation companies, attended the ceremony.

After 26 years of development, Sellers Union Group has steadily formed four development models including self-operated foreign trade B2B, cross-border e-commerce B2C, service ecosystem and investment ecosystem, and is about to achieve a breakthrough enterprise in the industry with a scale of tens of billions. In 1999, Yiwu office was set up. Relying on the resource advantages and business environment of Yiwu small commodity market, we innovatively adopted a new foreign trade business model and made "small businesses" accumulate "large customer groups", and continuously promoted the development and growth of foreign trade business. The Yiwu headquarter building project marks another new step in the continuous entrepreneurial development period of the Group.

The Yiwu headquarter building is located at the intersection of Yiwu's main road, adjacent to key urban areas such as Yiwu China Commodities City and International Logistics Port, which has convenient public transportation, well-developed surrounding facilities, and strong resource radiation effects. The headquarter building has 21 floors and a height of 95 meters above ground, consisting of a 4-floor functional area and a 17-floor office area with a total construction area of approximately 75,000 square meters. It can integrate various functions such as working, product display, cultural exhibition hall, enterprise incubation and conference center, and can accommodate approximately 2,000 employees. It is planned to be officially put into use in 2026.

During the ceremony, Wang Jun, General Manager of Chuangzhan, delivered a speech. He stated that in order to further enhance the business image of the Group, build a business platform for the new development stage of the Group, and enhance employees' sense of belonging and pride, the Group will invest 400 million yuan to build a headquarter office building in the Yiwu new CBD block. This is a landmark event of the Group's development in Yiwu for more than 20 years. He indicated that during the preparation process of the project, the Group received the care and support of leaders at all levels in Yiwu. In the future, the Group will work with relevant companies to construct a high-quality headquarter building with significant characteristics, and aim to become a benchmark construction project for the new CBD region in Yiwu.

The project will be undertaken by Zhejiang Rongtuo Construction Co., Ltd. as the general contracting company. Mei Liang, Chairman of Rongtuo, delivered a speech. He promised that the company will strictly adhere to the safety policy of "safety first, prevention first", the quality policy of "scientific management, meticulous construction, high-quality service, and dedication to excellence", the concept of “high starting point, high standard, high-quality construction”, to ensure the successful completion of the headquarter building project on schedule.

Mao Xianghong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Yiwu Free Trade Development Zone, said that Sellers Union Group has become a leading enterprise in the field of daily consumer goods in Yiwu and one of the largest export trade groups in Zhejiang Province leaded by Yiwu strategy "prospering commerce and building a city". The Group is not only a historical witness of the urban development and market prosperity of Yiwu, but also an important participant in Yiwu's products going international and gaining worldwide reputation. It has made important contributions to optimizing Yiwu's trade mode and product structure, and maintaining the comprehensive competitiveness of the city's foreign trade.
